Successfully selling residential real estate in today's challenging economic times requires a team of experienced Realtors with a national brand company to insure a smooth transition for both buyers and sellers! Scott has been a Realtor since 1991 along with his wife, Marcy Daniels, who is also a real estate broker and serving the greater Clearwater/Tampa Bay area since 1976! Together, they and their licensed assistant, compose "The Daniels Advantage Team" for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate.
Scott was born in Washington, D.C. and lived in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until he went to college in South Dakota. While at Huron College, Scott was busy as a student, volunteering at a local nursing home and was a Big Brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. He worked at Lewis Drug Store and a local hotel in "the pheasant capital of the world"! Scott was a member of the tennis team, yearbook editor and even elected as the first student representative to the college's board of directors.
After graduating from college, Scott moved back to the Philadelphia area where he taught school, joined the Naval Reserve, completed his master's degree at Temple University and also worked at John Wanamaker Department Store. Scott moved to Washington, D.C. where he worked as the national sales and marketing manager for a health care, medication compliance packaging company. Traveling throughout the country, Scott worked directly with pharmacists, nurses and administrators serving seniors in their communities. In 1986, he moved to Clearwater and helped to manage a Tampa operation serving nursing homes and assisted living centers across the state.
Scott began his real estate career in 1991 and became a full time Realtor in the mid-1990's when he joined Marcy to create "The Daniels Advantage Team". Today, their team assists customers with the complex process of buying and selling homes, condos, villas and townhomes throughout Pinellas County, western Hillsborough County and southern Pasco County. From the Gulf of Mexico beaches to Tampa Bay, from downtown St. Pete to downtown Tampa, from Trinity to Isla del Sol, from golf course frontage to planned neighborhoods; Scott and Marcy know our community, like our community, volunteer in our community and promote our community giving their relocating customers a "chamber of commerce presentation"! Scott and Marcy have a national network of tenured, successful Realtors to recommend to clients planning to move out of the Tampa Bay region to other communities. Whether it is a son or daughter going away to college and the family decide to purchase a house or condo in that college/university town to have for an investment or a business person whose job takes them to another city and they need a "Scott Daniels" to assist them in a smooth transition elsewhere; Scott and Marcy insure that their clients are well served.
Scott believes that the best way to serve your community is to volunteer. He is a past president of Leadership Pinellas and on the board of directors of Lighthouse of Pinellas (serving the blind and sight-impaired citizens of Pinellas County). Scott has been volunteering for over 20 years with Pinellas Trails, Inc., the citizen organization for The Pinellas Trail, our linear park, rail-to-trail project. Scott is chairing the "Second Decade Celebration" to be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010. He is also a member of the Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation. Scott was recently announced as a member of the search committee selecting the new president for St. Petersburg College.
Scott and Marcy are parents of two, teenage daughters. They have a Yorkshire terrier and greyhound and enjoy attending cultural, educational, sports and community venues and events throughout Tampa Bay! They are "bullish" on our communities and love living here "in Paradise"!
